Simplify's Take

What believers are saying

  • EBI won TeraWulf's February 2026 contractor-of-choice award for medium-voltage construction.
  • EBI serves over 75% of the U.S. commercial nuclear fleet, strengthening repeat demand.
  • Extended Power Uprates over the next 5-10 years create a large retrofit pipeline.

What critics are saying

  • Customer concentration is severe: nuclear and utility owners drive most revenue exposure.
  • TeraWulf's February 2026 award ties EBI to datacenter build cycles and capex timing.
  • Private-equity ownership pressures margins; a bad outage season or safety incident would crush trust.

What makes Electrical Builders, Ind unique

  • EBI dominates isolated-phase bus duct work, especially nuclear and high-voltage life-extension projects.
  • Pelican bought EBI in August 2024, giving it capital and energy-sector backing.
  • EBI spans turnkey installation, repair, fabrication, and 24/7 emergency outage response.
