What believers are saying

  • Structured mentoring: engineer trainees spend approximately two years learning turbine inspections with senior field engineers.
  • Employer-paid protection: careers benefits include company-paid disability and life insurance.
  • Shift premium: the Euclid CNC machinist posting offers a 20% differential for second-shift hours.

What critics are saying

  • Outage-season workload: the Euclid machining shop advertises a full schedule of 50 hours or more.
  • Extensive travel: the engineer training program requires US travel and occasional short overseas assignments.
  • Broad onsite responsibility: gas turbine field engineers oversee site safety, labor and project financials.

What makes Mechanical Dynamics & Analysis unique

  • Patented seal design: Guardian packing rings maintain radial sealing through shutdown, startup and operating conditions.
  • Reduced reassembly: Topless Alignment measures shell deflections and bore positions without tops-on turbine measurements.
  • Narrow-gap inspection: the Air Gap-Bot enters 0.9-inch generator gaps and inspects without removing the field.
