- Relevant education or training demonstrating readiness to perform regulated quality assurance or quality control work.
- Good Manufacturing Practice certifications or equivalent relevant training.
- Ability to stand or walk on a production floor, occasionally lift up to 50 pounds, wear personal protective equipment, and work around food-grade solvents and flavors.

- Partner with Quality leadership to identify compliance gaps, prioritize improvements, and execute a practical roadmap across documentation, training, supplier qualification, and corrective and preventive action.
- Standardize templates and workflows for standard operating procedures, forms, logs, and batch packets to reduce human error and rework.
- Strengthen specifications, acceptance criteria, and review workflows so release decisions are consistent and fast.
- Establish quality metrics for document errors, deviations, supplier performance, and training completion, and drive corrective and preventive actions.
- Draft, revise, and version-control standard operating procedures, work instructions, forms, and logbooks; route them for review and approval; and train teams on changes.
- Build and maintain Master Manufacturing Records under 21 CFR 111.210.
- Ensure executed Batch Production Records under 21 CFR 111.260 are complete, legible, and compliant.
- Support document change control, including redlines, impact assessments, training, and effective dates.
- Perform or coordinate receiving inspections, in-process checks, line clearance, label reconciliation, and finished-product release or quarantine according to specifications.
- Support sampling plans under ANSI/ASQ Z1.4 and ISO 2859, retain management, and reserve samples under 21 CFR 111.83.
- Maintain the Approved Supplier List and collect and assess supplier questionnaires, audits, and performance data.
- Log and investigate deviations, out-of-specification results, and out-of-trend results, and drive corrective and preventive actions through effectiveness checks.
- Track trends and propose preventive actions to reduce repeat issues.
- Experience supporting regulatory inspections or Good Manufacturing Practice certification audits.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma.
- Experience with cloud-based enterprise resource planning or manufacturing resource planning platforms.
- Experience developing or reviewing product specifications.
- Experience developing or reviewing product packaging and labeling.
- Solid Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets skills, including filters, pivot tables, and lookups.
- Comfort learning digital tools.
