Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a relevant field.
  • At least four years of experience with project and/or program management and operations.
  • Consecutive employment in a position with comparable responsibilities within the past four years.
  • Proficiency in using a computer for email communication.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, and related tools and technology.
  • Ability to produce thorough, accurate, appropriately documented work products that comply with established criteria.
  • Ability to propose resolutions to complex technical, managerial, or operational problems.
  • Demonstrated leadership, management, organizational, decision-making, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Ability to work within deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, written, and client-service skills.
  • Understanding and proficiency in financial and project management systems and procedures.
  • Eligibility for a United States government Facility Access Authorization, also referred to as Employment Authorization.
Responsibilities
  • Lead and execute the effort supporting the Department of Labor's youth apprenticeship programs.
  • Perform program and project management tasks, including participating in kickoff meetings and training.
  • Develop and execute campaigns promoting youth apprenticeship programs and their content.
  • Determine effective methods for recruiting students from local high schools and colleges.
  • Design approaches to connect learning communities.
  • Conduct outreach to local businesses and educational institutions.
  • Provide technical assistance and advice to educational institutions and employers to facilitate and accelerate youth apprenticeship programs.
  • Develop a national youth apprenticeship network and support the ongoing expansion and sustainability of youth apprenticeship programs.
  • Research data collected from apprenticeship programs and participating youths to develop new and expand existing programs.
  • Provide project quality control and interface with the client on project-specific issues.
  • Formulate the design, implementation, and management of assigned projects.
  • Ensure projects are completed within estimated time frames and budget constraints.
  • Develop project work plans and periodic written reports.
  • Attend project meetings and teleconferences.
  • Coordinate communication between ProSidian and the client.
  • Interact regularly with all project team members and assist other team members as needed.
  • Prepare an executive summary covering findings, lessons learned, and recommendations for further growth of the apprenticeship program.
  • Support business development and other company efforts as assigned.
