About the job
- An active New Jersey Licensed Practical Nurse license is required.
- Current Basic Life Support certification is required.
- A physical examination completed within the past 12 months is required.
- A PPD or QuantiFERON test within the past year, or a chest X-ray within the past five years, is required.
- Proof of flu vaccination or an approved exemption is required.
- Authorization to work in the United States is required.
- Provide one-on-one pediatric nursing care in the home setting.
- Monitor and manage tracheostomy and ventilator support as ordered.
- Administer and monitor gastrostomy tube feedings.
- Perform patient assessments and report changes in condition.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
- Collaborate with families, physicians, and the pediatric clinical team.
- Assist with transportation and care coordination for the Franklin Lakes case.
- Experience with tracheostomy, ventilator, and gastrostomy tube care is preferred.
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are preferred.
