Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience managing clustered services, distributed systems, and production data stores.
- At least 2 years of experience administering and operating Hadoop clusters.
- At least 4 years of experience installing, configuring, and administering Linux-based systems.
- Expertise managing Hadoop and its ecosystem, including Hive, Pig, Spark, HDFS, HBase, Oozie, Sqoop, Flume, and ZooKeeper.
- Experience managing Cloudera CHD4/CDH5 clusters and performing capacity planning.
- Service-oriented operations experience.
- Ability to work comfortably in cross-functional teams with diverse and global cultures.
- Creative analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Administer and operate Hadoop clusters.
- Install and configure Linux-based systems.
- Manage clustered services, distributed systems, and production data stores.
- Manage Hadoop ecosystem technologies and Cloudera CHD4/CDH5 clusters.
- Perform capacity planning.
