Citco launches unified private credit portal to streamline loan servicing.

Citco launches unified private credit portal to streamline loan servicing. * July 28, 2026 * - 9:28 am Citco has introduced a new digital platform designed to simplify private credit loan servicing, as growing market complexity drives demand for greater transparency and operational efficiency across the asset class. The new Citco Credit Portal brings together the firm's loan servicing capabilities into a single platform, providing loan agency and servicing clients with one point of access to loan information, portfolio data and operational workflows. Initially available to clients using Citco's Loan Agency and Servicing business, the platform enables users to view loans, borrowers, lender groups and portfolios while accessing transaction data, payment schedules and servicing information through a unified interface. The launch comes as the private credit market continues to expand, with increasingly complex financing structures, larger syndicates of lenders and heightened demand for timely portfolio information placing greater pressure on servicing providers. Citco said the portal is designed to reduce the operational inefficiencies associated with fragmented systems by creating a single digital environment that combines loan data, documentation and servicing workflows. The firm believes the platform will improve transparency, facilitate collaboration between market participants and provide a more consistent view of loan information throughout the servicing process. Artificial intelligence played a key role in developing the platform, with Citco incorporating agentic AI technologies to accelerate product development and introduce new functionality. The company is also piloting AI-powered tools to automate loan abstraction and improve transaction onboarding into its servicing systems. However, Citco said AI-generated outputs will continue to be reviewed and validated by experienced servicing professionals under a hybrid "AI Plus Human" operating model, combining automation with human oversight to maintain accuracy and control. Elaine Furnari, Head of Citco Loan Services, said the portal aims to address a longstanding transparency gap in private credit by giving clients near real-time visibility into loan activity, exposures and, over time, underlying asset performance. Looking ahead, Citco plans to expand the platform's capabilities to support non-performing loans, restructurings and recoveries, while increasing integration with clients' internal systems and data environments. The launch forms part of the firm's broader strategy to modernise private credit servicing infrastructure as the asset class continues to mature and institutional investors demand more sophisticated reporting, monitoring and workflow management tools.
