  • Active state Property and Casualty Insurance Sales license.
  • Active state Life and Health Insurance Sales license, or obtain it within 90 days of hire.
  • Must qualify for, obtain, and maintain all applicable state licenses and appointments required for selling and servicing Auto Club Group membership products.
  • Obtain Health and Accident licenses and appointments where applicable within the timeframe established by the business unit.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least one year of customer-facing experience in a fast-paced computer-automated business environment, such as financial or banking services.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop, manage, and close sales opportunities, including lead tracking, follow-up, pipeline management, and accountability for achieving and exceeding performance goals.
  • Ability to apply consultative selling techniques, supported by product knowledge and customer-needs assessment, identify coverage gaps, recommend appropriate solutions, and deliver tailored value.
  • Proven ability to generate opportunities through referrals, outbound activity, networking, and other business-development efforts.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer-first mindset and confidence guiding sales conversations.
  • Proficiency with sales technology, including customer relationship management platforms and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work varied hours, including possible weekends.
  • Some travel to local events may be required.
Responsibilities
  • Sell and provide ongoing service for ACG-branded and brokered insurance products, memberships, and financial products within a high-traffic ACG branch.
  • Uncover customer needs, generate new business, retain existing clients, grow ACG’s insurance portfolio, overcome objections, negotiate effectively, close sales, and meet or exceed individual sales targets and incentive-plan expectations.
  • Conduct comprehensive insurance reviews to assess risk, identify coverage gaps, recommend appropriate solutions, and quote, bind, and issue policies in accordance with underwriting guidelines and regulatory requirements.
  • Build and maintain rapport with members and clients, respond to inquiries professionally and urgently, and support customer satisfaction, loyalty, and trust in the AAA brand.
  • Engage in local branch and community events to prospect, expand referral networks, develop new business opportunities, and identify cross-sell and referral opportunities into Travel and Financial Services.
Desired Qualifications
