What believers are saying

  • Q2 2026 sales rose 53%, and full-year guidance increased to 37%-39%.
  • Data-center sales should exceed $2 billion in 2026, more than double 2025.

What critics are saying

  • Maverick integration and closing depend on approvals before November 20, 2026.
  • September 2026 debt financing adds leverage and refinancing risk if data-center demand cools.
  • A failed AI buildout or Vertiv pricing pressure would crush nVent's premium growth narrative.

What makes nVent unique

  • Liquid cooling expertise and 2+ gigawatts deployed differentiate nVent with hyperscalers and chipmakers.

nVent Electric raises 2026 outlook on AI data centre demand, expects $2B+ data centre sales

nVent Electric reported 53% year-over-year sales growth in Q2 2026, reaching $1.47 billion, driven largely by surging AI data center demand. The company's infrastructure vertical saw organic sales more than double, with data center sales expected to exceed $2 billion in 2026. Strong demand for liquid cooling solutions prompted nVent to open its Blaine facility in Minnesota earlier this year, doubling capacity. The company has already announced a second facility, Blaine 2, set to open in the first half of 2027. nVent raised its 2026 outlook, now expecting reported sales growth of 37-39% and organic sales growth of 32-34%, up from previous ranges of 26-28% and 21-23% respectively.
