Responsibilities
  • As an Insights Account Executive (IAE) at 84.51°, you are responsible for the revenue growth of the Commercial Insights business.
  • Your clients are our Consumer Packaged Goods partners, many of whom are the largest CPGs in the world.
  • Our insights solutions support a range of client business needs, including driving clients’ business results, omnichannel insights, new product innovation, brand and marketing strategy, and shopper trends all with a lens on how this impacts their overall business growth, both at Kroger and their holistic company.
  • The Grade 3 IAE is a client-facing sales role, grounded in creating best-in-class client relationships with a deep focus on advancing 84.51° solutions in the market with a broad client portfolio.
  • You will be responsible for proactive strategic sales planning, partnering cross-functionally to identify 84.51° solutions for sales opportunities, create compelling sales presentations, and earn client investment in our solutions to answer their problems & address their needs.
  • Client penetration is a critical component of this role, as you will need to nurture existing client relationships and find new stakeholders & decision makers at your clients with whom to develop relationships, and ultimately infuse 84.51° capabilities into their organizations, especially at client headquarters.
  • You will need detailed understanding of how our solutions work, the benefits they can provide clients, and how & why clients should invest in 84.51° solutions to meet their needs.
  • You are therefore responsible for budget targets, accurate financial forecasting, and maximization of adoption of 84.51° solutions.
  • Additionally, you will create, provide, and adopt best-in-class sales practices to and broadly share for reapplication within the organization to support this.
  • Because we are a highly cross-functional team, you will actively partner with 84.51° Insights Account Managers (IAM), your manager, and cross-functional teams (commercial solutions, sales consultants, marketing, consumer research, data science, etc) to deliver industry-leading revenue growth with our clients, as well as to provide ongoing client feedback to internal partners that will help inform our product roadmap.
