Requirements

Responsibilities
  • Teach and coordinate Youth Sunday School.
  • Participate in Sunday programs as assigned, including Children's Five, prayer, preaching, and program planning.
  • Support outreach and evangelistic opportunities.
  • Oversee and run Corps children's programs.
  • Visit and mentor youth.
  • Assist with teen discipleship activities and Bible study.
  • Collect and report statistics to the Corps Officer.
  • Attend staff training, including KeepSAfe.
  • Adhere to Kentucky State licensing regulations.
  • Communicate with the After School Program Director to schedule and coordinate programs, including daily activity schedules, group outings, and program guidelines, while preventing infringement or overlap and maintaining licensing guidelines.
  • Supervise the assigned group, including meals, recreation times, and other scheduled activities.
  • Plan and direct activities as needed, including Life and Character Building, crafts, and structured or unstructured gym recreation.
  • Supervise volunteers as necessary.
  • Assist with setting up and cleaning up program areas for meals and before- and after-program activities.
  • Provide the Corps Officer with a list of needed supplies each week.
  • Support Christmas activities as needed.
  • Support fundraising activities as needed.
  • Provide good stewardship of building money, resources, and equipment.
  • Assist Corps Officers and administrators as necessary.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in elementary education is preferred.
