  • A Bachelor of Science in Nursing is required.
  • A current New Jersey Registered Nurse license is required.
  • A current American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification for health care providers is required.
  • Zero to two years of experience is required.
Responsibilities
  • Support, educate, and assist patients and their families while serving as a link to physicians and supportive services.
  • Provide specialized nursing care to pediatric and adult patients with allergies, asthma, hereditary angioedema, and related disorders.
  • Support the treatment, education, and ongoing management of patients.
  • Collaborate with physicians and health care team members in a fast-paced ambulatory office.
  • Serve as a patient advocate.
  • Demonstrate effective teamwork as a member of the interdisciplinary care team.
  • Participate in direct patient care during provider visits as needed.
  • Coordinate care and prior authorizations.
  • Assist in securing prescriptions and supplies needed for proper care.
  • Participate in telephone triage.
  • Follow evidence-based practices and nursing standards and procedures to provide safe nursing care and promote positive patient outcomes.
