Requirements
  • A college or technical certification in a construction-related field is required.
  • At least 5 years of experience in low-voltage project management, including large projects, is required.
  • Applicants must have project management techniques and practices knowledge.
  • Applicants must have vendor and subcontractor management experience or capability.
  • Applicants must have low-voltage systems design and engineering knowledge.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with large-project estimation and bidding and attend bid reviews when possible.
  • Develop project plans and standard operating procedures.
  • Recruit and manage project teams.
  • Build the project-management team while staying within budgets.
  • Build field crews, participate in interviews, and prepare offer letters.
  • Manage customer relationships.
  • Maintain project cost control and report to the Arizona Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.
  • Assist managers in different branches and offices by analyzing operations and staff performance.
  • Develop and implement project-management best practices.
  • Provide guidance and support to all staff members.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Develop and implement quality-control methods.
  • Schedule training sessions and workshops for new and existing staff members and maintain yearly training budgets.
  • Oversee warehouse cleanliness and inventory levels.
  • Oversee the vehicle fleet.
  • Oversee testing equipment and tools.
  • Ensure all operations remain within the allocated budget.
  • Manage contract and service projects.
  • Perform other duties assigned by the manager.
Desired Qualifications
  • PMI Project Management Professional certification is preferred.
  • BICSI Registered Communications Distribution Designer certification is preferred.
