The handheld wound imaging device now transfers wound images and data directly into ModMed EHR systems. The integration enables automatic synchronisation of scheduled patients and wireless upload of wound assessment data, including bacterial fluorescence images, digital measurements, and thermal imaging. The solution supports offline functionality for mobile wound care providers. The MolecuLight DX is a class II FDA-cleared device that detects elevated bacterial burden in wounds whilst providing thermal imaging and digital wound measurement.
