Field Trips Coordinator
About the job
- Commit to a minimum of six months and approximately six flexible hours per week.
- Contribute professional skills and networks to JerseySTEM's mission.
- Be willing to make phone calls and communicate by email with venues, teachers, school administrators, and internal teams.
- Check, forward, and answer email questions for approximately 15 to 30 minutes daily.
- Meet with the Curriculum Team to discuss current venues and opportunities.
- Research new venues and inquire about venues by phone.
- Draft emails to teachers or school administrators about incoming field trips and ensure paperwork and permission slips are in place.
- Draft requests for quotes from specific venues.
- Have a one-on-one call with the JerseySTEM Corporate Development team.
- Plan field trips and arrange visits with companies, museums, and STEM spaces for students.
