Requirements
  • Possess a terminal degree or matriculate into a terminal degree program before or immediately following appointment.
  • Have a minimum of ten years of experience in the healthcare ecosystem.
  • Have a minimum of five years of experience teaching in higher education.
  • Have strong verbal and written communication skills, strong project management skills, and proven experience with spreadsheets and databases.
  • Have expertise working independently and as a member of a team.
  • Provide a curriculum vitae including work experience, teaching experience, a list of publications, statements addressing the teaching and leadership prompts, and a list of references.
Responsibilities
  • Teach and participate in departmental, college, and university service.
  • Support development and maintenance of a strategic plan for the program.
  • Maintain program curricula, coordinate with faculty to develop new content, and keep the curriculum aligned with professional accreditation standards and current industry trends.
  • Network to establish relationships with prospective student applicants, recruit teaching faculty, and build healthcare-system partnerships for program awareness and experiential placements across the Global Network.
  • Develop and maintain alignment across program locations to ensure consistent academic quality, student experience, and curriculum standards while supporting regional customization.
  • Manage program administrative activities; advise students on academic and curriculum or registration issues; serve as liaison between the program and relevant University offices; and attend relevant committee meetings.
  • Act as liaison between the program and University offices handling program-related matters.
  • Support preparation and management of annual and multi-year enrollment projections and the program budget, staff approved program courses, and evaluate and update program offerings.
  • Communicate with and maintain contact with prospective, new, and current graduate students as an administrative contact for program-related matters.
  • Represent the program internally and externally; coordinate with marketing groups; recruit students; maintain a presence at recruitment events; and present at orientations, open houses, and graduate fairs.
  • Recruit faculty to teach in the program.
  • Liaise with Co-op Coordinators regarding student placements and potential placement sites.
  • Coordinate with the Office of Global Services and the Bouvé SEVIS contact on visa matters.
  • Liaise with the Bouvé Graduate Student Office regarding graduation clearance, registration, and other student issues.
  • Prepare teaching, leadership, and related application statements addressing instructional and mentorship experience, pedagogical philosophy, teaching plans, leadership style, belonging, and support for others' professional practice.
