Responsibilities

Set up the dining area and server stations before each shift.
Stay informed of daily menu updates.
Set tables before guest arrival with appropriate utensils and condiments.
Restock all stations.
Complete all side work and daily cleaning tasks listed in the checklist binder.
Complete all cleaning duties required at the end of the shift.
Report customer service or dining-area issues to the restaurant management team.
Maintain the cleanliness of the service area.
Clear, clean, and reset tables after guest visits with appropriate utensils and condiments.
Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, floors, counters, and other dining spaces.
Remove dishes and glasses from tables and take them to the kitchen during meals.
Run food from the kitchen as needed.
Communicate with servers and other staff to ensure proper service.
Attend all mandatory training and meetings.
Maintain a professional demeanor and adhere to the dress policy defined in the employee handbook.
Follow the guidelines and expectations stated in the employee handbook.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Purpose:

The Server Assistant is responsible for aiding the server in receiving and expediting food and beverage orders and helping to create a casual and relaxing dining experience.
