Armed Security Officer
About the job
- Familiarity with security policies and procedures is required.
- Experience performing technical procedures and completing reports is required.

- The ability to use technology to process information and improve security and communications is required.
- A valid driver's license, acceptable Department of Motor Vehicles record, and minimum liability insurance issued by the state are required.
- Guard registration through the Bureau of Security & Investigative Services is required.
- A firearms permit or license is required.
- Conduct access control at all access and exit points to ensure only authorized personnel and guests are permitted on the property and unauthorized individuals are removed.
- Quickly respond to emergency situations based on available information and training, make appropriate notifications, and follow emergency response procedures.
- Patrol the perimeter and the exterior and interior of the property to ensure the safety of all personnel and protection of the property, and complete written reports as required.
- Identify threats to employees, facilities, and operations.
- Complete assigned training according to club policies and procedures.
- Complete continuous armed security training and maintain appropriate firearm licenses and certifications.
- Provide assistance and services to employees and guests as part of the 24/7 Security Department.
- An associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
- Four to six years of armed security work experience in a professional setting is preferred.
- Dedication to providing quality service is preferred.
- Detail orientation and the ability to multitask are preferred.
