Requirements

A GED or high school diploma is required to enter the Nurse Aide Training Class.
Applicants must apply online to be considered.

Responsibilities

Make resident beds.
Transport residents to activities and meals.
Answer call bells.
Answer the unit phone.
Check and stock supplies.
Collect plates and cups after dining.
Put away laundry and label clothes for laundry.
Check resident rooms for amenities.
Alert nursing staff of resident needs as necessary.
Perform Enhanced Observation of a resident or patient as assigned to ensure safety, comfort, and companionship.
Document resident or patient behaviors and activities hourly in the Behavior Book when assigned to Enhanced Observation.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Monitor residents on the grounds.

Qualifications

A Nurse Aide Assistant doesn't require a GED/High school diploma but to enter into our Nurse Aide Training Class you do need to either one.
