Junior Product Designer
About the job
- Have a strong portfolio with at least one UI desktop or mobile project, showing use of AI in the design process.
- Have at least one year of commercial experience in a similar position.
- Understand user experience rules and the Figma environment.
- Have knowledge of AI tools such as Claude, or similar tools, used in the design process.
- Be able to create a basic style guide with UI elements with support from a buddy, mentor, or leader.
- Understand target users, evaluate current products from a user experience perspective, and participate in design workshops.
- Be willing to conduct research before or after meetings when necessary.
- Be able to design landing pages and parts of applications based on received specifications.
- Be able to work with existing design assets, especially style guides and UI kits.
- Be capable of preparing responsive web designs.
- Be AI-curious and eager to grow those skills, including vibecoding with a buddy, with hands-on experience in design projects.
- Have excellent written and spoken Polish and English at C1 level.
- Be familiar with Scrum and Agile methodologies.
- Have a problem-solving approach and solid communication skills.
- Be willing to challenge the status quo, consider new ideas and perspectives, recognize areas for improvement, seek solutions independently, and ask for help when needed.
- Be willing to learn from experienced designers how to cooperate with U.S. founders and CEOs.
- Create useful, visually appealing designs, including landing pages and web or desktop applications.
- Use AI to create interactive prototypes that bring concepts to life.
- Map user flows based on client requirements.
- Work with existing design systems with support from a buddy.
- Attend client meetings to establish requirements.
- Participate in in-house meetings with Product Designers, Developers, and Product Owners to create application requirements.
- Present ideas to the team and client, incorporating feedback from a mentor, buddy, leader, and Product Owner.
- Support internal projects and company initiatives, including creating presentations or other marketing assets.
- Self-initiated projects are a plus.
- Experience preparing marketing assets such as Dribbble shots and Facebook posts.
- Illustration skills.
- Branding skills.
- Experience with Webflow or Framer.
- Experience with After Effects or Jitter.
- Experience with automation tools such as Make or n8n.
