Requirements
  • A high school diploma, General Education Development (GED), or high school equivalent certificate is required.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service roles such as retail, concierge, call center, banking, or financial services is required.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and prioritization skills are required, including the ability to work independently and manage multiple systems simultaneously.
  • Fluency in French is required.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is required.
Responsibilities
  • Provide prompt and courteous service to UNFCU members and colleagues within established guidelines.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships and resolve members’ financial inquiries through diligent problem solving.
  • Determine members’ financial needs and present the features and benefits of UNFCU products and services.
  • Respond to calls, emails, and chats in inbound queues concerning product information, account details, debit and credit card inquiries, and establishing new accounts for existing members.
  • Identify, research, and resolve member issues, escalating concerns through appropriate channels when needed.
  • Meet Contact Center key performance indicator goals, including schedule adherence, average handle time, and quality scores.
  • Attend meetings, trainings, and organizational events as directed by management.
  • Maintain awareness of and report suspicious activity.
  • Complete relevant Bank Secrecy Act reports promptly and accurately, including Currency Transaction Reports and Suspicious Activity Reports.
  • Complete annual Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering, and Office of Foreign Assets Control training.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
