Notion is an in person company, and currently requires its employees to come to the office for two Anchor Days (Mondays & Thursdays) and requests that employees spend the majority of their week in the office (including a third day).

About The Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior People Operations Manager to join our team. This role will be crucial in driving and enhancing our people operations processes and programs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR operations, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.

What You’ll Achieve:

• Spearhead: Manage and support our Contingent Workforce Program by owning the full lifecycle from onboarding through offboarding to ensure seamless experience
• High Collaboration: Partner with the People Team and cross-functional partners (Finance, IT, Workplaces, Legal, and Recruiting) in development and implementation of HR processes and operational programs
• Simplify and Scale: Identify opportunities to improve and scale existing processes, and assist with change management of various programs and initiatives
• Be a Truth Seeker: Conduct audits of HR processes to ensure compliance with company policies as well as legal requirements
• Storytelling with Data: Assist with people-related reporting and analytics requests using HRIS data; turn our data into stories!
• Enhance the Employee Experience: Support our people first culture by resolving issues promptly and responding to employee questions and concerns
• Be Kind and Direct: Mentor other People Operations team members

Skills You’ll Need to Bring:

• 7+ years of experience in HR/People Operations at a high-growth Global Tech Company. This is not a managerial role.
• Experience at a scaling growth company with 2500+ employees, ideally has seen scale from 1000 to the next phase
• Strong understanding of HR policies, processes, and legal requirements
• Extensive experience with project management, from conception to execution, with excellent stakeholder management
• High confidence to make tough decision, backed by data
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

Nice to Have Skills

• Experience with HR data analysis and reporting
• Practical experience with HRIS tools

Notion is committed to providing highly competitive cash compensation, equity, and benefits. The compensation offered for this role will be based on multiple factors such as location, the role’s scope and complexity, and the candidate’s experience and expertise, and may vary from the range provided below. For roles based in San Francisco, the estimated base salary range for this role is $160,000 - $180,000 per year.
