Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in urban planning, geography, GIS, economics, public policy, finance, communications, or similar
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience (including internships)
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; experience with Power BI or Tableau preferred
  • Experience working with socioeconomic or community development datasets (Census, ACS, HUD, BLS)
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and attention‑to‑detail skills
  • Ability to work effectively across cross‑functional teams
  • Demonstrated interest in equitable community and economic development
  • Experience with research projects and impact measurement or social performance metrics, preferred
  • GIS mapping and spatial analysis experience (ArcGIS, StoryMaps), preferred
  • Experience with basic design tools such as Canva, preferred
  • Familiarity with the Greater Cincinnati region and its housing, planning, and economic development landscape, preferred
Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate and consistent data across CDF’s data collection systems
  • Collect and analyze relevant external data from public sources to inform market and strategic decisions
  • Partner with internal teams to define key performance indicators, track impact, and support strategic planning
  • Analyze loan, project, and community data to assess the reach and effectiveness of CDF’s investments
  • Support grant applications, community engagement efforts, compliance reporting, and capital deployment with data‑driven insights
  • Design and administer surveys and conduct borrower interviews to gather qualitative and quantitative data
  • Translate data into clear metrics, impact narratives, and insights for stakeholders
  • Collaborate with the Strategy team to develop reports, presentations, and impact communications
  • Assist with quarterly and annual compliance reporting
