Processing substantial daily volumes of raw milk into a diverse portfolio of yogurts, desserts, and fresh dairy products requires exceptional operational precision across pasteurization, fermentation, and blending stages. Bakoma now exercises automated, real-time surveillance over its Clean-in-Place (CIP) systems, sterilization cycles, and core fermentation variables, allowing technical teams to catch process deviations before they compromise batch quality. Furthermore, the system automatically generates digital documentation and reports, providing a traceable data trail that satisfies the strict auditing requirements of retail partners and food safety regulators. The successful rollout has yielded significant operational metrics, notably reducing the cognitive load on plant personnel through standardized interfaces, uniform alarm logic, and consistent data structures across all departments. This systematic standardization allows operators to seamlessly rotate between production zones with minimal retraining while accelerating onboarding timelines for new hires. AVEVA announcements from Milan conference. AVEVA held a customer conference in Milan, Italy in May. I did not attend. They did publish several announcements. Some of these should not be surprising, since they were necessary to at least maintain pace with other industrial software companies. There was an acquisition announcement. I have expected something like that for some time without knowing who and when. AVEVA has entered into an agreement to acquire TwinThread. The proposed transaction represents a shared vision to advance industrial intelligence through the combined strengths of AVEVA's data and analytics platforms and TwinThread's AI, digital twin, and predictive analytics capabilities. The completion of the transaction remains subject to customary closing conditions, including regulatory approvals.
