Requirements
  • Experience pulling low-voltage, data, or fiber optic cable.
  • Ability to work in commercial construction or data center environments.
  • Familiarity with basic hand tools.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
  • Reliable transportation to the job site.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening if required.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and climb ladders throughout the workday.

  • Comfort performing repetitive physical tasks.
Responsibilities
  • Pull, route, and dress copper and fiber optic cabling throughout the data center.
  • Install cable tray, J-hooks, ladder rack, and cable management systems.
  • Assist with cable labeling and documentation.
  • Rack and stack networking equipment as directed.
  • Maintain proper bend radius and cable routing standards.
  • Assist with loading, staging, and organizing materials.
  • Keep work areas clean and organized.
  • Follow all Occupational Safety and Health Administration and job site safety requirements.
  • Work closely with foremen and project leads to meet project deadlines.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Desired Qualifications
  • Structured cabling experience.
  • Data center experience.
  • Experience installing ladder rack or cable tray.
  • Fiber optic installation experience.
  • Occupational Safety and Health Administration 10 Certification.
  • Lift certification.
