Requirements
  • Prior housekeeping experience in lodging, housing, hotels, hospitals, or care facilities is preferred.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Must pass appropriate security clearances under company policy.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, lift, carry, push, pull, bend, stretch, reach, crawl, and kneel as required by the role.
  • Must be able to communicate professionally with guests and co-workers.
  • Must be able to work independently without direct supervision and as a team member.
  • Must be able to learn and use computer systems necessary for daily tasks, including Quore and Hotel Effectiveness.
  • Must be able to exercise discretion to maintain guest privacy.
  • Must be available to work any day or shift, including weekends.
Responsibilities
  • Clean vacant dirty rooms so they are guest ready and return occupied dirty rooms to an occupied clean status within specified time and accuracy constraints.
  • Handle linens, terry, supplies, and housekeeping equipment while maintaining sanitation and cost controls.
  • Follow guestroom cleaning procedures, company cleaning procedures, housekeeping training, training checklists, and brand standards.
  • Maintain the required minutes per room.
  • Maintain a clean and professional appearance according to grooming and uniform standards.
  • Follow general cleaning procedures every 90 days.
  • Report discrepancies and hazardous conditions to the immediate supervisor and correct hazards when appropriate.
  • Assist in maintaining associate breakrooms, restrooms, public areas, stairwells, and back-of-house areas in a clean and orderly condition.
  • Respond to guest requests and inquiries immediately.
  • Follow emergency, safety, and security procedures for guests and associates.
  • Perform other assigned duties within the associate's capabilities.
