Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • At least ten years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, data warehousing, enterprise data management, or related disciplines.
  • At least four years of hands-on experience designing and implementing enterprise Master Data Management solutions.
  • Experience implementing enterprise Master Data Management platforms such as Ataccama ONE, Reltio, or similar solutions.
  • Experience designing scalable cloud-based data platforms and enterprise integration solutions.
  • Experience developing enterprise application programming interfaces and modern data service layers.

  • Advanced SQL expertise and strong data modeling skills, including dimensional modeling, star schemas, slowly changing dimensions, canonical data models, and analytical data design.
  • Experience implementing automated data quality, observability, monitoring, and remediation frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise Master Data Management principles including Golden Record management, identity resolution, survivorship rules, reference data management, and enterprise data governance.
  • Experience with enterprise data governance platforms such as Collibra, Alation, or Microsoft Purview for metadata management, business glossary, data lineage, stewardship, and governance workflows supporting Master Data Management.
  • Experience working in regulated healthcare environments with HIPAA, PHI, and PII compliance requirements.
  • Experience collaborating with distributed and offshore engineering teams.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills to solve complex enterprise data challenges.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to influence executive leadership, technical teams, and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement enterprise Master Data Management solutions, including canonical data models, entity relationships, hierarchies, reference data, and enterprise data standards.
  • Establish trusted Golden Records through identity resolution, survivorship rules, and deterministic and probabilistic matching techniques.
  • Configure, implement, and optimize enterprise Master Data Management platforms such as Ataccama ONE, Reltio, or similar technologies.
  • Define and maintain canonical data models and governance standards that improve consistency across enterprise applications.
  • Ensure master data is accurate, governed, reusable, and available across Member, Provider, Facility, and other enterprise domains.
  • Design scalable architecture that supports operational excellence, enterprise growth, advanced analytics, and artificial intelligence initiatives.
  • Design and develop secure, scalable application programming interfaces and enterprise data services that expose mastered data to operational systems, analytics platforms, and downstream applications.
  • Build integration solutions supporting real-time, near-real-time, and batch data exchange.
  • Develop scalable integration patterns that enable enterprise-wide consumption of trusted master data.
  • Ensure secure, governed access to enterprise master data across cloud and hybrid environments.
  • Design, build, and maintain cloud-native data pipelines using AWS Redshift, Glue, Lambda, Amazon S3, Athena, and Step Functions.
  • Develop scalable transformation logic using SQL and dbt.
  • Implement dbt capabilities including data testing, schema validation, referential integrity, documentation, lineage tracking, exposures, metric definitions, and environment-based deployment controls.
  • Support continuous integration and continuous delivery deployment pipelines and Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or Pulumi.
  • Implement enterprise best practices for testing, documentation, deployment, observability, and governance.
  • Optimize SQL, data processing, and query performance across large-scale healthcare datasets.
  • Build modern data platforms that enable advanced analytics, machine learning, artificial intelligence, and enterprise reporting while improving operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with Data Governance teams to implement enterprise metadata management, stewardship, lineage, and governance processes.
  • Define, measure, and monitor master data quality metrics, governance key performance indicators, and service level agreements.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, protected health information, personally identifiable information, privacy, security, and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Promote enterprise adoption of governed and standardized master data practices.
  • Champion governance processes that enable innovation while protecting critical enterprise information assets.
