- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Previous experience as a teacher at a licensed childcare center is required.
- Willingness to drive a 14-passenger minibus; no commercial driver's license is required.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Ability to bend, stoop, lift, and work while standing.
- Must have a clean driving record and reliable transportation.
- School-age basic school age care training is required.
- An NCECC certificate is preferred.
- Implement the curriculum in a way that meets each child's unique learning style.
- Foster relationships with children and provide a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
- Document and share with families the important milestones in a child's day using the app.
- Encourage and model developmentally appropriate social behavior and expectations.
- Safely transport children to and from area elementary schools and field trips in a small bus.
- Ensure a safe, healthy, and nurturing environment.
- Complete safety checks and drills.
