KingsLane Group, which is based in Raleigh, North Carolina, has acquired the Hilton Garden Inn at 905 E. Hawkins Parkway in Longview. "A lot of hotel investment still chases the big gateway cities, but some of the most dependable performance we see is in places like Longview, where the local economy runs on real businesses rather than tourism cycles. Those markets tend to get overlooked, which means well-run hotels in them are often undervalued," said Nitin Khanna, managing principal of KingsLane Group. "That's been our thinking with Longview - we invest in hotels with a long-term perspective, and that shapes how we create an exceptional experience for our guests, our team and the wider Longview community." The Hilton Garden Inn Longview features 122 guest rooms and is near U.S 259, about 10 minutes from downtown. Its location places the hotel in close proximity to major health care providers, business parks, educational institutions and commercial centers that contribute to the city's year-round visitor demand. Amenities include an indoor pool with a lazy river and children's play area, a 24-hour fitness center, an on-site restaurant and bar, and business facilities. The Hilton Garden Inn features four meeting rooms and 7,350-square-feet of total event space. - Business Beat appears Wednesday. The grants will support programs at Corewell Health Children's locations during the fall and winter seasons, according to a community announcement. The health system also introduced Levi Kneisler of Cottrellville Township as its 2027 Children's Miracle Network Child Ambassador. Levi was diagnosed with B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia in 2025 and has undergone chemotherapy and frequent hospital visits since then. Since 1988, Children's Miracle Network has partnered with Corewell Health Foundation Southeast Michigan, helping raise more than $95 million for pediatric care, research and technology. Corewell Health said that more than 320,000 children in the region benefit annually from programs and services supported through the partnership.
