  • 1-4 years design experience in a newsroom, agency or other relevant industry
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, etc.)
  • Ability to manage your time across several workstreams
  • Data visualization and/or motion design skills are a plus
Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the editorial team to enhance articles, social media, newsletters, and audio experiences with custom artwork and templates
  • Create bespoke hero images for stories and social posts using photos, type, and vector elements on a daily basis
  • Maintain and audit a library of editorial and social templates on a monthly basis
  • Commission freelance illustrators to create original artwork for podcasts on a project basis
