- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in analytical chemistry, flavor/fragrance chemistry
- Experience in sample preparation, operation and maintenance of GC/MS equipment.
- Experience with GC/MS data analysis and fully proficient in Masshunter Qual, and Quant softwares
- Basic understanding of separation sciences and solid chemistry knowledge of small molecules.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with various team members and translate analytical requirements into actionable plans.
- Ability to work independently and juggle multiple projects concurrently.
- Ability to work in-person 5 days a week in our E 29th St New York City labs.
- Maintain detailed performance logs and ensure routine maintenance of all the analytical equipment.
- Handle high-throughput sample preparation and collaborate closely with the Lab Ops team to maintain steady flow of samples.
- Collaborate with senior team members to conduct analyses and report compound purity results in line with standard operating procedures.
- Maintain records of analytical results in Electronic Lab Notebook (ELN) and work with Platform team in managing all electronic analytical data.
- Support sample preparation for the analytical team.
