Requirements
  • At least 3 years of ABB robot programming experience.
  • Experience with automated assembly or manufacturing systems.
  • Ability to troubleshoot robots, tooling, and automation equipment independently.
  • Experience with robot commissioning and production support.
  • Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings.
  • Ability to travel and provide extended project support in South Carolina.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Responsibilities
  • Program, troubleshoot, and optimize ABB robotic systems.
  • Support automation equipment startup, integration, and commissioning.
  • Perform robot touch-ups, recoveries, and production support.
  • Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and process-related automation issues.
  • Work closely with controls engineers, machine builders, and project teams.
  • Modify robot paths, input/output, and tooling as needed during launch activities.
  • Support onsite installation and production ramp-up in South Carolina.
  • Maintain safety and quality standards throughout all phases of the project.
