Natera's Signatera(TM) MRD Test Named to TIME's List of the Best Inventions of 2026.

Natera's Signatera(TM) MRD Test Named to TIME's List of the Best Inventions of 2026. * 2 hrs ago Natera, Inc. (NASDAQ: NTRA), a global leader in cell-free DNA and precision medicine, today announced that its Signatera molecular residual disease (MRD) test has been named to TIME's Best Inventions of 2026 list, featuring extraordinary innovations that are changing lives. TIME's Best Inventions list, published annually, highlights the technologies and breakthroughs making the world better, smarter, and more innovative. To compile this year's list, TIME solicited nominations from TIME editors and correspondents around the world, and through an online application process, paying special attention to growing fields - such as healthcare and AI. TIME then evaluated each candidate on a number of key factors, including originality, efficacy, ambition, and impact. Signatera, a personalized MRD test for patients diagnosed with cancer, was named to the list in the Medical & Healthcare category. This recognition comes as Signatera continues to advance as a foundational tool in modern cancer care, offering critical insights that inform care management for millions of patients. Built from the unique genomic signature of each patient's tumor, Signatera detects and quantifies tiny fragments of circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) in the blood, providing ongoing monitoring for disease recurrence and response to treatment across cancer types. The test plays an important role in oncology drug development, helping pharmaceutical companies identify patients for clinical trials and accelerate the approval of novel therapies. It is the most widely adopted and extensively validated MRD test, supported by more than 200 peer-reviewed publications and used by more than 55% of oncologists in the U.S. "One of the biggest problems in cancer care is knowing who needs additional therapy and who might safely avoid it," said Steve Chapman, chief executive officer, Natera. "Signatera can help guide those challenging decisions, because it can detect disease recurrence in the blood up to two years in advance of imaging, giving patients and their doctors greater lead time and confidence. We are honored to receive this important recognition from TIME." Also in October 2026, Natera was named to Fortune's Future 120. This list highlights companies across industries poised to define the next chapter of business and innovation. Together, these honors reflect Natera's expanding role in precision medicine and the growing impact of the Signatera test across cancer care. About Natera Natera is a global leader in cell-free DNA and precision medicine, dedicated to oncology, women's health, and organ health. Natera, Inc. and TransCode Therapeutics, Inc. collaborate on Phase 2A trial of TTX-MC138 in colorectal cancer. Published on 10/13/2026 at 09:06 am EDT S&P Capital IQ Natera, Inc. and TransCode Therapeutics, Inc. announced a strategic collaboration in colorectal cancer (CRC). The collaboration will support enrollment for TransCode?s Phase 2a trial evaluating TTX-MC138 in patients with CRC. Patients will be eligible for enrollment if they have completed curative-intent therapy and remain positive for molecular residual disease (MRD), as detected by Natera?s Signatera test, with no radiographic evidence of disease. The collaboration aims to surface patient populations who meet the trial?s MRD-positive eligibility criteria more efficiently, streamline site-level identification, and optimize the pace and quality of enrollment for the study. TransCode?s study is being conducted by Quantum Leap Healthcare Collaborative within its PRE-I-SPY program, a leading platform for innovative oncology clinical trials. This trial represents the program?s first expansion beyond breast cancer into CRC. The PRE-I-SPY platform extends the clinically validated I-SPY trial model into early feasibility testing to accelerate biologically targeted therapies into the curative-intent setting. TTX-MC138 is a first-in-class therapeutic candidate designed to inhibit microRNA-10b (miR-10b), a biomarker widely linked to the emergence and progression of metastatic cancers, including CRC. Natera presents largest MRD dataset in lung cancer at IASLC 2026 world conference.

Natera presents largest MRD dataset in lung cancer at IASLC 2026 world conference. Published on 09/18/2026 at 07:05 am EDT S&P Capital IQ Natera and its collaborators presented four abstracts, including two oral presentations. A mini-oral presentation featured the largest molecular residual disease (MRD) dataset ever presented in lung cancer. This analysis of 1,129 patients with resected stage 1-3 non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) spanned an observation period from 2016 to 2025. Signatera MRD detection was evaluated in the early post-surgical window and throughout surveillance, with the following key findings: Early post-surgical Signatera-status was strongly prognostic of recurrence-free survival. Signatera-positivity in the early post-surgical window (7?90 days after surgery) was associated with significantly worse recurrence-free survival (RFS), with a 25% higher absolute 3-year RFS for Signatera-negative patients. Signatera-positive patients had approximately 5X the risk of recurrence or death during surveillance. Findings were consistent across both the primary surgical and perioperative cohorts, supporting broad applicability of Signatera monitoring across resected stage 1-3 NSCLC. Full list of presentations at WCLC 2026 included: Abstract P2.192 Poster: ctDNA After Definitive Therapy +/- Immunotherapy and Association with Survival Outcomes in Locally Advanced Unresectable NSCLC. Abstract P2.200 Poster: ctDNA-based Molecular Residual Disease as a Predictive Biomarker for Treatment Stratification in Unresectable Stage 3 NSCLC. Abstract MO05.07 Mini Oral: KRAS G12C Predicts Superior Outcomes with 1L Cemiplimab for Non-Squamous aNSCLC With PD-L1 = 50%: Data From EMPOWER-Lung 1. Abstract MO11.09 Mini Oral: Post-Surgical Molecular Residual Disease Detection, Adjuvant Treatment Patterns, and Overall Survival in Resected Stage 1-3 NSCLC. (C) S&P Capital IQ - 2026
