Requirements

Responsibilities
  • Assist with data entry for poll collection pages.
  • Fact-check and verify figures in stories, charts, and polling releases.
  • Gather information and call county officials to verify the data they will have on election night.
  • Help manage audience accounts by generating, proofreading, and fact-checking audience-related tasks.
  • Assist with project management by keeping documentation and project boards up to date.
  • Monitor audience metrics for the weather team.
  • Take on new responsibilities as needed.
  • Support and understand the value of journalistic independence and demonstrate commitment to the organization's mission.
  • Report to the Director of Newsroom Operations.

  • Experience with a coding language or expert-level spreadsheet skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize to meet deadlines.
