Requirements
  • A master's degree with at least 18 graduate hours in the field is required to teach undergraduate courses, or a terminal degree in the field of study or a closely related field is required to teach graduate courses.
  • Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel is required.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.
  • Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others is required.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision is required.
  • The position requires work after business hours and on weekends.
Responsibilities
  • Teach three semester credit hours per seven-week term in the fully online competency-based education format within the required discipline.
  • Respond to student inquiries within 24 hours and provide timely feedback on assignments, assessments, and evaluations to ensure student progression through competencies and other course materials.
  • Facilitate courses by adhering to the standard course syllabus provided by the Assistant Dean.
  • Assess grades based on the standard course materials, assignments, competencies, and assessments provided by the Assistant Dean.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
