About the job
- At least five years of relevant experience.
- A minimum Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, or a related field, with five years of relevant experience substitutable for the degree.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- An active security clearance is required.
- Experience developing with Python and JavaScript.
- Experience applying data science solutions to large-scale data sets.
- Ability to design and implement all aspects of client-server software from the ground up.
- Understanding of Java applications.
- Develop applications using Accumulo, Hadoop, Kafka, Spark, YARN, Python, and JavaScript.
- Create applications that implement predictive analytics.
- Make design decisions to improve software development workflows.
- Create integration points between data flows and services or tools that consume them.
- Develop solutions implementing graph theory algorithms, machine learning technologies, and/or detection and monitoring on data flows.
- Experience with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
- System administration skills with Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
- Proficiency automating builds using continuous integration pipelines, including Jenkins and GitLab CI.
- Prior experience with Java application development.
