Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Cert III in Instrumentation Craft.
  • EEHA Certification.
  • Current First Aid Certificate and LV Rescue.
  • Current Full or Restricted Queensland Electrical Licence.
Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with the site cardinal safety rules and with all safety aspects in the execution of work
  • Ensure procedures and permits are followed safely
  • Commissioning, troubleshooting and repair of MCC's, pressure transmitters, level transmitters, flow transmitters, temperature transmitters, fire and gas equipment, control valves, on / off valves and solenoids and control monitoring equipment end to end
  • Inspect, test, adjust and commission equipment to satisfy appropriate governing standards.
  • Work within OEM guidelines.
  • Demonstrate high-quality fault-finding skills and the ability to troubleshoot autonomously.
  • Observe and supervise Vendor staff working on or near the facilities as required.
  • Carry out Cause and Effect Testing
  • Carry out calibration of equipment as required
  • Carry out loop testing of equipment from control system to field device
  • Attend system walkdowns
  • Complete rectification works as required
  • Close out Punch items
