About the job

Requirements
  • 3 to 6 years of security experience, with significant hands-on experience in vulnerability management, attack surface management, or cloud security posture management.
  • Hands-on experience running and tuning a vulnerability scanning or CNAPP platform.
  • Experience prioritizing a large set of findings with a risk-based model and explaining those decisions; working knowledge of CVSS, EPSS, and the CISA KEV catalog, including how to use them together.
  • Cloud security fundamentals in at least one major provider, including how workloads, identity, and network exposure fit together; experience with container and image vulnerabilities and dependency (SCA) findings in code repositories.
  • Comfort starting with an incomplete inventory and determining what exists and who owns it.
  • Experience working directly with engineering teams to get fixes shipped.
  • Scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, or a similar language sufficient to query APIs and automate reporting.
  • Regular, hands-on use of AI tools in security work, with specific examples of how they improved speed or quality and an understanding of what is safe to share when PHI, credentials, or sensitive data are involved.
  • Strong writing skills to produce actionable engineering tickets and executive-level risk summaries.
  • Take ownership of work through verified remediation, work comfortably with a continuing backlog, explain and defend risk judgments while welcoming disagreement, pursue root causes, and treat patient safety and data integrity as requirements.
  • Use AI tools carefully in security work, with sound judgment about sensitive data.
Responsibilities
  • Run the vulnerability lifecycle day to day: discovery, validation, prioritization, remediation tracking, verification, and reporting across cloud workloads, containers, code repositories, and endpoints.
  • Prioritize findings by actual risk rather than raw CVSS, and apply and improve the risk model using internet exposure, exploitability (CISA KEV and EPSS), asset criticality, and data sensitivity. Provide evidence when priorities should change and make deliberate deprioritization visible.
  • Build a reliable asset inventory by combining cloud, endpoint, and SaaS inventories into one view, assigning a named owner to every important asset, and conducting scheduled external discovery to identify internet-exposed assets, including previously unknown ones.
  • Drive remediation through Engineering, IT, and Platform teams by writing actionable tickets, agreeing on realistic timelines, escalating blockers to the Director, and confirming fixes are in place.
  • Fix problems at their source and automate repetitive work by rolling out hardened base images and dependency baselines, connecting scanner and CNAPP APIs to ticketing and reporting, and automating recurring reports.
  • Own web application security by running dynamic scans of web properties, working with application teams to ship fixes, and using edge and WAF controls as temporary mitigations while tracking mitigated versus fixed issues.
  • Establish security checks for the new publishing platform so internally built, externally published applications are inventoried and scanned before launch, and identify gaps early in the process design.
  • Manage vulnerability disclosure and bug bounty intake by validating researcher reports against known issues, responding promptly and professionally, and seeing valid reports through to verified fixes; escalate disclosure and severity decisions to the Director.
  • Use Claude, coding assistants, and agent-based tools to triage findings at volume, correlate findings, draft remediation guidance, and produce reports, applying care to data shared with those tools because the company handles PHI.
  • Track mean time to remediate, backlog burn-down, and SLA coverage; prepare reporting for the Director to present to leadership and assemble evidence for client, partner, and auditor requests in a HIPAA-regulated environment.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with vulnerability management and CNAPP platforms, especially Wiz; other useful platforms include Orca, Prisma Cloud, Defender for Cloud, Lacework, CrowdStrike Falcon Exposure Management, Spotlight, Tenable, Qualys, and Rapid7.
  • Experience with external attack surface management tools and reconnaissance methods, including DNS, certificate transparency, subdomain and shadow IT discovery; CAASM and inventory platforms such as Axonius or runZero; and SaaS discovery tools.
  • Experience with application and edge security platforms, including DAST and edge/WAF tools such as Invicti, Burp Suite, Cloudflare, and Akamai, and vulnerability disclosure or bug bounty programs such as HackerOne and Bugcrowd, including researcher communication, report validation, and duplicate handling.
  • Experience with hardened or minimal base images such as Chainguard or distroless, Kubernetes and container security at scale, GKE and EKS, PaaS or edge hosting such as Vercel, Netlify, or Cloudflare Pages, SBOMs, software supply chain security, and automation connecting scanner APIs to Jira, Slack, or reporting pipelines.
  • Experience in healthcare, fintech, or another regulated industry, and hands-on HIPAA, HITRUST, or SOC 2 work, especially providing vulnerability management evidence to auditors and clients.
  • GCLD, GCPN, GWEB, GSEC, an AWS or GCP security specialty certification, OSCP, or equivalent experience.

Digbi Health brings precision biology care to all 50 states with 700+ clinicians and coaches through OpenLoop Health and MD Integrations.

Digbi Health brings precision biology care to all 50 states with 700+ clinicians and coaches through OpenLoop Health and MD Integrations. More than 300 employers and health plans now offer a unified platform for metabolic, inflammatory, and hormonal care, built on each member's gut microbiome, genetics, and glucose data, as a fully covered benefit. October 15, 2026 14:00 ET | Source: Digbi Health MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., Oct. 15, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) - Digbi Health today extended its precision biology care to all 50 states through collaborations with OpenLoop Health and MD Integrations (MDI), giving members of more than 300 employers and health plans access to more than 700 physicians, nurse practitioners and coaches. Members can now receive GLP-1 medications and hormone replacement therapy (HRT) as part of the same food-first care plan that treats their metabolic, gastrointestinal, and inflammatory conditions. Food first, medication when needed Digbi brings obesity, metabolic, GI, and hormonal care together in one plan, built around the person's biology. Its proprietary AI platform reads each member's genetics, gut microbiome, blood biomarkers, glucose response, lifestyle, and medications, then personalizes care around food and lifestyle so that every meal becomes a chance to improve health. When a member needs a GLP-1 medication or hormone replacement therapy, a licensed clinician in Digbi's network can prescribe it as part of the same care plan, without a separate referral or app. The collaborations with OpenLoop and MDI make that step quick in all 50 states. A peer-reviewed actuarial claims analysis published in Healthcare, covering seven U.S. self-insured employers, found a $3,012 reduction in overall medical spend per member per year. From luxury to universal access "Precision biology changes lives only when it reaches people. For too long, it has been a luxury for those who could afford it. Our vision is to make it standard care, covered by health plans and employers. Our science identifies what drives each person's chronic illness. OpenLoop, MD Integrations, and Digbi's AI platform help us deliver the care that follows, in every state where our members live, to the standard patients and employers expect. Our clinical infrastructure now matches our vision and science." - Ranjan Sinha, Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Digbi Health The clinical backbone Digbi draws on OpenLoop's multi-state clinician network to give members access to licensed clinicians in the states where Digbi's programs are available, within a coordinated care experience. "Working with Digbi Health reflects a shared commitment to coordinated care. Access alone isn't enough; patients need the right clinician for the care they're seeking. OpenLoop's clinician network and operational infrastructure, combined with Digbi's personalized care programs, are designed to help reduce barriers to access." - Dr. Jon Lensing, CEO and Co-Founder, OpenLoop MDI's network of board-certified physicians spans all 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and Guam. It supports Digbi's synchronous and asynchronous care for GLP-1 medications and hormone replacement therapy, with built-in pharmacy and diagnostic workflows. The arrangement keeps clinical, pharmacy, and diagnostic standards consistent as Digbi's care volume grows. "Our relationship with Digbi Health rests on a shared commitment to clinical integrity and compliance. We provide compliant clinical infrastructure powered exclusively by physicians in all 50 states, because strong compliance systems help ensure patients receive appropriate care from clinicians licensed to provide it. By handling that framework behind the scenes, we let platforms like Digbi Health scale specialized care quickly and safely, without compromising on regulatory precision." - Dr. Marc Serota, Founder and CEO, MD Integrations About Digbi Health Digbi Health is the precision biology care company unifying metabolic and inflammatory care - including obesity, cardiometabolic, gastrointestinal, and inflammatory disorders. These illnesses share a root cause: a mismatch between an individual's biology and the one-size-fits-all lifestyle guidance they've been given. Digbi combines the gut microbiome, genetics, advanced blood biomarkers, and continuous digital health data to build a unique biological profile for each individual and identify what is driving their disease. AI then personalizes lifestyle treatment and, when needed, clinical treatment, delivered through the first precision-biology AI-orchestrated national telehealth platform. Through Digbi Labs, we invest in our vision of making chronic illness optional and advancing healthspan - partnering with leading universities, pharmaceutical companies, and scientific and clinical laboratories, running distributed human trials and publishing peer-reviewed research on genetics, the gut microbiome, and the use of AI to deliver care that is safe, cost-effective, and accessible. Digbi's healthcare cost reduction is documented in multiple peer-reviewed actuarial claims studies. Digbi is accessible to 30 million individuals through more than 300 employers and health plans. Astrin, OpenLoop expand breast cancer blood testing.

Astrin, OpenLoop expand breast cancer blood testing. The partners aim to expand access to Certitude, a blood test intended to supplement a mammography for women with elevated cancer risk, across 48 states. By Nathan Eddy | October 9, 2026 | 1:30 PM Eligible women in 48 states can now access a supplemental breast cancer blood test through telehealth under a distribution partnership between Astrin Biosciences and OpenLoop Health. The companies announced the rollout of Astrin's Certitude test, saying the expansion could reach approximately 75 million women. The test is designed to identify protein patterns associated with breast cancer, including disease as early as Stage 0. OpenLoop supplies the clinical infrastructure, including physician ordering, home or local blood collection, and guidance after results are returned. Patients submit their information online for a licensed provider to review and determine eligibility. The offering targets women with dense breast tissue or elevated breast cancer risk who may need additional screening. Certitude is intended to supplement mammography, rather than replace it. Astrin's platform combines mass spectrometry, which measures proteins in a blood sample, with machine learning to identify patterns associated with cancer. The approach examines protein signals rather than relying on imaging or detecting tumor DNA circulating in the blood. The company's patient website lists eligibility beginning at age 40 and says the test has not been evaluated during pregnancy, with people with autoimmune disorders or with those with a personal history of cancer other than nonmelanoma skin cancer. Certitude is a laboratory-developed test and has not been cleared or approved by the FDA. The company lists an introductory self-pay price of $525 for requests submitted through Dec. 31, 2026, and says insurance coverage is not currently available. Women in New York and Hawaii can check eligibility and join a waitlist; however, the test is not yet available in those states. THE LARGER TREND OpenLoop has been expanding its services through its virtual care infrastructure. In June, it partnered with RxHealing and Tenovi on a pharmacy-driven remote patient monitoring program, providing clinical oversight, compliance and billing support while pharmacies identified eligible patients and Tenovi supplied connected devices. The company previously raised $15 million in 2023 and announced a nationwide payer network and revenue cycle management service for digital health companies. The Certitude rollout also follows efforts to connect women's cancer screening with care outside traditional clinical settings. In July, Teal Health and UC Davis Health launched an at-home cervical screening pilot for women due or overdue for screening. That study is evaluating whether home sample collection can improve participation and integrate with health system workflows. HIMSS is hosting the one-day AI Executive Leadership Summit in San Diego on Oct. 21, 2026, followed by its AI in Healthcare Forum Oct. 22-23. Register separately for the two events here and here. Certitude breast cancer blood test now available to 75M women across 48 US states

Astrin Biosciences has made its Certitude breast cancer screening blood test available to 75 million women across 48 US states through a partnership with OpenLoop Health. The test targets women with dense breast tissue, who face higher cancer risk and reduced imaging effectiveness. Certitude analyses thousands of proteins from a blood sample to identify early molecular signals of breast cancer. In a validation study of 1,242 women, it demonstrated 92% sensitivity and 93% specificity, with a negative predictive value exceeding 99.9%. The test offers an alternative to supplemental imaging for high-risk women. Women in New York and Hawaii can join a waitlist for when the service becomes available in their states. The partnership with OpenLoop Health enables access through a digital platform, addressing geographical barriers to comprehensive screening.

OpenLoop shifts to strategic investments to expand clinical reach, backs Happy Sleep's FDA-cleared sleep apnea diagnostic ring

OpenLoop, a telehealth infrastructure platform serving over 300 organisations, has announced a shift in expansion strategy, opting for strategic investments rather than outright acquisitions. The company has invested in Happy Sleep, which makes an FDA-cleared smart ring that diagnoses sleep apnea at home in five days with 98% accuracy. Since 2024, OpenLoop has completed 13 strategic investments and acquisitions, including Season Health and Hey Revia. The investment approach allows the company to support operators in categories where it already runs clinical operations — such as sleep, weight management, and nutrition — without the integration burden of full acquisitions. OpenLoop has operated Happy Sleep's clinical diagnostics, including provider review, since April 2026. The company plans to pursue additional equity investments in consumer healthcare companies this year.
