Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage a strategic roadmap based on customer and market insights aligned with near and long-term objectives.
  • Lead product lifecycle ideation, planning, and execution, managing complex dependencies
  • Collaborate with other members of product, data, design, engineering, and marketing to find ways to expand our offerings.
  • Work cross-functionally across the organization, aligning expectations from various departments and stakeholders to execute against said roadmap.
  • Align performance metrics with business strategies, evaluating product performance throughout its lifecycle.
  • Design and run A/B tests to constantly be learning about how to push our products forward
  • Utilize critical thinking to interpret, evaluate, and analyze data and facts to make informed decisions.
  • Foster creativity and ideation, balancing curiosity, practicality, and imaginative solutions
  • Communicate adeptly across all organizational levels, from strategic vision to tactical requirements, both orally and in writing.
  • Exhibit strong empathy and understanding of stakeholder perspectives and customer pain points to create solutions and quickly bring the right product to market.

The app offers features such as cash advances on upcoming paychecks without interest or credit checks, which helps users avoid overdraft fees. It also includes a 'Side Hustle' feature that assists users in finding additional job opportunities to increase their income. Unlike traditional banks, Dave does not charge overdraft fees, minimum balance fees, or ATM fees at over 32,000 MoneyPass ATMs, making it more accessible for lower to middle-income individuals. The company generates revenue through subscription fees and optional services, while also partnering with Evolve Bank & Trust for deposit management.
