Responsibilities
  • Greet guests warmly, engage in proactive communication, and provide food and beverage service.
  • Take food and beverage orders and enter them accurately into the point-of-sale system.
  • Stock service stations with ice, napkins, glassware, straws, and other supplies.
  • Check on guests throughout service, ensuring satisfaction and addressing requests or concerns.
  • Refill beverages, clear plates, and reset tables quickly and neatly.
  • Ensure food is prepared correctly and to guest satisfaction, returning incorrect or improperly prepared items to the kitchen.
  • Follow cash-handling and bank operating procedures.
  • Present guest checks and process payments quickly and accurately.
  • Complete assigned daily side-work duties.
  • Participate in pre-shift meetings and required training.
  • Inform guests about enhancements and upselling opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Food and Beverage team members to provide smooth and efficient service.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction scores and work to improve departmental and hotel satisfaction.
  • Perform self-cashiering duties, including balancing and reconciling shift income according to policy.
  • Support bartenders by maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the bar and lounge.
  • Merchandise food and beverage items to increase sales and enhance the guest experience.
  • Maintain knowledge of repeat guest preferences and personalize service accordingly.
  • Stay informed about in-house groups, VIP guests, and daily events, carrying the daily event summary for reference.
  • Assist guests with finding appropriate seating in the lounge and bar area.
  • Model and promote the hotel’s mission and values during daily operations.
  • Perform additional duties and special projects assigned by management.
Desired Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a restaurant setting.
  • Prior experience providing food and beverage service.
  • High school diploma, general education degree, or international equivalent.
  • Fluency in English and clear verbal and written communication.
  • Knowledge of basic restaurant terminology and food-service techniques.

CoralTree Hospitality appoints new CTO. CoralTree Hospitality has appointed Jeff Knowlton as chief technology officer to lead the company's enterprise technology strategy, digital innovation and systems optimization across its portfolio. Knowlton brings more than 25 years of experience in hospitality and technology leadership, digital transformation, guest-facing platform enhancement and operational system modernization to his new role. He will oversee CoralTree's technology roadmap, focusing on improving guest experience, operational efficiency and scalable infrastructure to support the company's expansion. "Jeff's deep expertise at the intersection of hospitality and technology makes him an exceptional addition to our leadership team," said Tom Luersen, president of CoralTree Hospitality. "As we continue to grow, his vision and leadership will be instrumental in delivering innovative, seamless, and data-driven guest experiences across our portfolio." Before joining CoralTree Hospitality, Knowlton most recently served as chief information officer at Peregrine Hospitality. Prior to that, he served in the same role at Sonesta Hotels International.
