Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age.
Successfully complete pre-hire physical and hearing tests and a drug screen.
Demonstrate critical thinking ability.
Demonstrate leadership.
Understand pressure control equipment and theory.
Understand the theory of #10 and #20 Baker setting tools and Owen Shorty setting tools.
Understand basic TCP perforating configuration.
Have a basic understanding of slickline tools, packers, and profile nipples.

Responsibilities

Provide assistance to crew and supervisors or management with duties in the field and shop.
Maintain required safety, operational, and regulatory documentation.
Demonstrate a professional attitude and provide customers with operational expertise.
Lead shop activities, including shop maintenance, shop equipment maintenance, yard maintenance, housekeeping, security, and supervising operators.
Ensure the wireline unit and shop are stocked with required tools and supplies.
Mentor and assist with wireline truck maintenance and shop equipment maintenance.
Supervise or assist with rigging in and out pressure control equipment and tools as required.
Plan and execute operation of the wireline unit, including tools, logistics, and crews.
Complete field invoicing and understand the price book.
Initiate self-improvement through soft skills training via the learning management system.
Supervise or assist with rigging in and out the lubricator and tools as required.
Supervise or assist with gun loading operations.
Locate open or short circuits in wireline tools and surface equipment.
Operate and supervise a standard mast unit and/or mast unit with swab line, depending on station.
Arm all explosive devices.
Run GR/N/CCL logs and correlate depth to open hole.
Run GR/CCL/temperature logs.
Run GR/N/CCL/CBL/VDL and RBL logs if trained and competent.
Run a junk basket and gauge ring.
Set bridge plugs, cement retainers, and packers.
Perforate and understand shot densities and gun limitations.
Dump bail cement or sand.
