Chemours' actions toward Responsible Manufacturing.

Chemours' actions toward Responsible Manufacturing. Chemours' commitment to sustainability is rooted in its Responsible Manufacturing approach, which integrates advanced emissions reduction technologies, rigorous byproduct process analytics, and continuous improvement. This holistic framework ensures the safety, reliability, and environmental stewardship of operations and products. Chemours has set one of the most, if not the most, aggressive fluorinated organic compound (FOC) reduction targets in the world and are continuing to develop innovative technologies and processes to achieve it. Chemours has invested in the proactive development and advancement of novel analytical techniques and methodologies that enable the detection and measurement of fluorinated compounds at low levels previously not possible. Its investments in measurement and testing push the boundaries of detection beyond what regulators are requiring today. Csr Company share these advanced techniques and methodologies with regulators to enable reliable and reproducible measurements needed for meaningful emissions reduction and help advance industry wide progress. For example, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) Other Test Method (OTM)-45, built to measure per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) in air emissions, is largely based on a sampling train designed and optimized by Chemours and also informs more updated sampling methods like OTM-50. Additionally, Chemours continues to invest in developing and improving abatement technologies. Csr Company actively engage with equipment providers to test and improve emerging technologies for air and water abatement. For example, while traditional Regenerative Thermal Oxidation (RTO) is effective for destroying dilute volatile organic compounds in high volumes of air, it faces reliability and destruction efficiency challenges when used specifically for fluorinated organic chemicals. As a result, Chemours is developing new technology in support of a reliable RTO system to more efficiently capture and destroy fluorinated compounds from dilute process streams at a high volume. Continued Progress and Investment in FOC Reduction Chemours continues to invest in technologies and implement projects to reduce FOC emissions at multiple facilities. In 2025, Csr Company completed projects to recover FM-200(TM) product emissions at its El Dorado facility in Arkansas, improve water abatement at its Washington Works and Dordrecht Works facilities, capture refrigerant emissions from loading and blending operations, and progressed improvements at several of its other manufacturing sites. This work resulted in the elimination of an additional 60 metric tons of FOC process emissions across its sites in 2025. Since 2018, Chemours has reduced its FOC process emissions by 80% or 1,313 metric tons. Chemours continues to make progress against its FOC reduction targets with more than 15 active projects underway globally. All reporting metrics surrounding its FOC emissions follow the U.S. EPA's interim guidance for PFAS destruction and disposal, issued in April 2024.

Albert raises $55M to scale chemistry-native AI.

Albert raises $55M to scale chemistry-native AI. Albert, developer of the first chemistry-native AI operating system for R&D, announced a $55 million Series B funding. The Series B funding is led by TCV with participation from new investors Delta-V Capital, Socium Ventures, HighSage Ventures, Coral Capital, and Legion VC. They are joined by existing investors Coatue, J.P. Morgan Growth Equity Partners, Index Ventures, and Applied Ventures. The new funding will be used to expand Albert's chemistry-native AI capabilities, shortening development cycles and reducing time to market for the everyday products used by billions of people. As companies race to adapt to shifting safety and regulatory requirements, supply chain disruptions, and customer expectations for faster timelines, leveraging AI for product development is becoming increasingly critical. Albert was built specifically for the complexity of chemistry and materials science, combining chemistry-native AI with the security, governance, and scale required by global enterprises, including zero data retention, fine grained access controls, and reasoning audit trails. General-purpose models consistently fail to support specialized workflows in highly sensitive industries like legal, finance, and science. In enterprise R&D, scientists need highly specific AI capable of distinguishing between formulations, materials, processes, and experimental conditions that can look nearly identical in language but behave very differently in practice. Albert created a benchmark for formulation chemistry called "FormBench," which sets a new global standard for evaluating AI in this context. Albert also announced the industry-defining success of its chemistry-native model "Valence" which new research shows is 45x more accurate than general-purpose AI at retrieving the correct answers to scientific queries. Valence achieves this improved performance because it was trained to discriminate chemical composition and function while reading text, the way an experienced chemist would. "Enterprise AI for chemistry has to be built from the ontology up; the language, data, workflows, and decisions for R&D are deeply specialized. Because our team comes from the chemical industry, we've built Albert around that reality, pairing a scientific ontology with chemistry-native AI in a way that is tailored for each customer. This funding supports our vision of enabling customers to build a world model of their unique science, one that is grounded in their real experimental data," said Nick Talken, CEO and co-founder of Albert. "R&D in chemistry still runs largely on spreadsheets and institutional memory," said Morgan Gerlak, Partner, TCV. "Albert turns decades of lab data into faster discovery, and it represents what we think the future of vertical AI should look like." Albert's chemistry-native AI brings together the scientific ontology, intelligence, integrations, and regulatory compliance required to support R&D across large organizations, with partners such as AkzoNobel, Avient, BASF, Chemours, Clorox, Henkel, Kenvue, and Nouryon. Scientists can interact with natural language, and Ask Albert orchestrates a sophisticated harness of the tools, agents, and models to accelerate invention: surfacing institutional knowledge so teams don't repeat work, suggesting formulation candidates and designing experiments to shorten development cycles, and running complex data analysis to accelerate decisions. "We are proud of what we've accomplished together with Albert and are even more excited about the next steps on our shared roadmap. As a result of the partnership, we have increased R&D's ability to be interconnected across a common data platform, enabling the acceleration of how we develop new products for our consumers," said David Lutness, Head of R&D Digital Capabilities at Kenvue, maker of consumer health products like Zyrtec, Neutrogena, and Listerine. "In a global organization like ours, the challenge is never a lack of data, it's connecting it. Ask Albert lets our teams query everything in one place, from raw materials to notebook entries, instead of hunting across systems. We're still early, but it's clear this is going to reshape how we manage knowledge across R&D," said Milena Rosso-Vasic, Program Manager at one of the world's largest paint manufacturers, AkzoNobel. Over the past year, Albert has continued to expand across enterprise chemistry and materials R&D: Project creation has grown 26x year over year as organizations deploy Albert OS as shared infrastructure across their R&D functions. The user base has also multiplied, with 6x more scientists on Albert OS year over year, spanning 44 countries. This growth in adoption also includes increasingly diverse chemistry, with 4x more workflow creation year over year as more teams bring different R&D processes onto the platform. Albert's product capabilities have expanded just as rapidly: in six months, Ask Albert evolved from an AI search assistant to a full R&D partner that reasons across all of Albert OS. $CC investors: A Securities Fraud Class Action is pending on behalf of Chemours investors that lost money after 18% Stock Drop - Contact BFA Law by December 7 Deadline. Chemours has been sued for securities fraud after its stock plummeted 18.63% because Chemours allegedly misrepresented the strength of demand for its Opteon products. NEW YORK, Oct. 14, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) - Leading securities law firm Bleichmar Fonti & Auld LLP announces that a class action lawsuit has been filed against The Chemours Company (NYSE:CC) and certain of the company's senior executives for securities fraud after a significant stock drop resulting from potential violations of the federal securities laws. If you invested in Chemours, you are encouraged to obtain additional information by visiting: https://www.bfalaw.com/cases/chemours-class-action-lawsuit. Key Details of the Chemours ($CC) Class Action: * Lead Plaintiff Deadline: December 7, 2026 * Alleged Misconduct: Securities fraud alleging Chemours misrepresented the strength of demand for its Opteon products * Stock Drop: August 5, 2026 - 18.63% Stock Drop * Court: U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware * Action: Contact BFA Law to discuss your rights Investors have until December 7, 2026 to ask the Court to be appointed to lead the case. The complaint asserts securities fraud claims under Sections 10(b) and 20(a) of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 on behalf of investors in Chemours securities. The class action is pending in the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware. It is captioned Darcy v. The Chemours Company, No. 26-cv-1299. Why is Chemours Being Sued for Securities Fraud? Chemours offers a range of industrial and specialty chemical products, including Opteon, a set of refrigeration chemicals with a reduced ozone-depletion footprint. In late 2020, Congress enacted the U.S. AIM Act, which directed the EPA to oversee the transition to alternative refrigerants that present a lesser impact to the ozone layer. According to the complaint, Chemours stated that continued adoption of the AIM Act drove sustained growth for its Opteon products. Chemours stated that the "sustained double-digit" Opteon expansion would be "driven by the continued regulatory adoption" of the AIM Act. What's more, Chemours provided 2026 net sales guidance of 3% to 5% growth and 2026 adjusted EBITDA guidance of $800M - $900M, driven by "higher... demand" in its Opteon segment. As alleged, Chemours failed to disclose that customers were already oversupplied with Opteon products because of the AIM Act transition, leading to an "oversupplied channel heading into 2026." Why did Chemours's Stock Drop? On August 4, 2026, Chemours announced Q2 2026 financial results, revealing an approximately 1% year-over-year decrease in net sales and cutting 2026 adjusted EBITDA guidance by about 11% (to $775M - $825M from $800M - $900M). Chemours also revealed that customers had "built additional inventory" of Opteon products the prior year, that aftermarket channels had been filled, and that Chemours was selling into an "oversupplied channel heading into 2026." On this news, Chemours's stock dropped $3.34 per share, or 18.63%, from a closing price of $17.93 per share on August 4, 2026, to $14.59 per share on August 5, 2026. What Can You Do? Chemours faces securities fraud lawsuit over $65M in overstated aftermarket sales

The Law Offices of Frank R. Cruz has filed a securities fraud class action lawsuit against The Chemours Company on behalf of shareholders who purchased stock between 20 February and 4 August 2026. Shareholders have until 7 December 2026 to file a lead plaintiff motion. The lawsuit alleges that Chemours made materially false statements about its business operations. On 4 August 2026, the company reduced its full-year adjusted EBITDA guidance to $775 million to $825 million from the previous $800 million to $900 million. Management disclosed that aftermarket customers had built excess inventory, with approximately $65 million in aftermarket sales that should have been allocated to the current year. Following this announcement, Chemours shares fell 18.63% to close at $14.59 on 5 August 2026.
