- Enrolled in a college program working towards a Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Business Administration with 2+ years of schooling
- Ability to read and understand production assembly drawings and specifications
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects, prioritize, meet deadlines and work independently with initiative in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to collaborate and build effective relationships at all levels of the organization
- Knowledge of diesel and electric motor driven pump assembly preferred
- Comply with XDS and OSHA safety standards, procedures and regulations, including daily attendance of safety/tool box meetings
- SOP development for the paint pre and post assembly areas, parts coordination and small controls installation
- Robust data collection implementation: small controls (N/S), hydraulic shop & paint efficiency improvement (fab/paint developed and implemented but needs improvement)
- Collaborate with co-workers in production of multi-component parts and large units
- Facilitate BCP testing
- Inspect equipment as required to maintain proper function
- Complete housekeeping duties in assigned area on a daily basis and/or when required
- Participation in Xylem Watermark volunteer activities
