Requirements
  • Enrolled in a college program working towards a Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Business Administration with 2+ years of schooling
  • Ability to read and understand production assembly drawings and specifications
  • Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing
  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects, prioritize, meet deadlines and work independently with initiative in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to collaborate and build effective relationships at all levels of the organization
  • Knowledge of diesel and electric motor driven pump assembly preferred
Responsibilities
  • Comply with XDS and OSHA safety standards, procedures and regulations, including daily attendance of safety/tool box meetings
  • SOP development for the paint pre and post assembly areas, parts coordination and small controls installation
  • Robust data collection implementation: small controls (N/S), hydraulic shop & paint efficiency improvement (fab/paint developed and implemented but needs improvement)
  • Collaborate with co-workers in production of multi-component parts and large units
  • Facilitate BCP testing
  • Inspect equipment as required to maintain proper function
  • Complete housekeeping duties in assigned area on a daily basis and/or when required
  • Participation in Xylem Watermark volunteer activities
