- Completion of an accredited nursing program is required.
- Confidently place, maintain, and manage IVs from start to finish.
- Demonstrate solid knowledge of medications, sterile technique, and infection control.
- Communicate effectively and focus on the patient experience.
- Adapt flexibly as situations require.
- Safely administer ketamine via IV.
- Care for patients throughout every step of the infusion process.
- Explain ketamine infusion to patients and their families.
- Provide calm emotional support throughout treatment.
- Document care thoroughly.
- Provide support to providers and patients via telehealth when not administering infusions.
- Assist where needed as part of the team.
