Requirements
  • At least 8–10 years of relevant experience in digital media or advertising, marketing analytics, and/or incentives or insights, including at least 5 years in sales or account management.
  • At least 3 years of experience managing teams of four or more, with a proven record of hiring, coaching, and scaling client-facing teams.
  • Demonstrated success exceeding revenue targets, closing complex deals, and leading renewals and expansions across enterprise portfolios.
  • Acute understanding of the marketing, insights, and agency landscapes and how national budgets flow across brand, shopper, performance, and retail media teams.
  • Data-to-insights acumen and the ability to build outcome-oriented recommendations and executive narratives.
  • Strong executive presence, strategic thinking, and stakeholder influence, with excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Project or program management experience and the ability to work in fast-paced environments with tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency with customer relationship management systems such as Salesforce for pipeline management, forecasting, and account planning.
  • A Bachelor's degree (Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science) or equivalent experience.
  • Willingness to travel 35–50%.
Responsibilities
  • Own end-to-end growth across a portfolio of enterprise, mid-tier, and emerging clients or agencies by balancing new-business acquisition with long-term client success, expansion, and retention.
  • Own the regional or vertical commercial strategy and pipeline and drive new-logo acquisition.
  • Prospect and develop senior stakeholders across brand, shopper, performance, and agency teams to unlock national budgets and alternative profit streams.
  • Create and execute territory and account plans to exceed revenue, market-share, and margin targets, while actively managing forecasting and pipeline hygiene in the customer relationship management system.
  • Lead complex deal cycles to closure and negotiate terms that balance client outcomes with profitability.
  • Serve as an executive escalation point and strategic advisor during key pursuits and renewals.
  • Lead the vertical's organic growth strategy across Media, Incentives, and Insights and deliver high retention through strong client experience.
  • Ensure the team understands client objectives, category dynamics, and channel strategies to design appropriate plans and activation mixes.
  • Partner with senior merchandising and client leaders or agencies to identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities, test innovative tactics, and expand multi-product adoption.
  • Align with internal stakeholders on joint growth strategies and triage off-strategy investment.
  • Build, inspire, and retain a diverse team of Client Success and Client Partners; recruit, train, coach, and scale capabilities.
  • Drive productivity and efficiency across workflows, processes, and playbooks by setting goals, operating rhythms, and performance standards.
  • Foster customer focus, continuous learning, and ownership while creating career-development pathways and succession plans.
  • Partner with Product, Sales, Marketing, Data Science, and Campaign Operations to shape offerings, design solutions, and ensure execution.
  • Bring the voice of the customer to product roadmaps and pilot innovations that strengthen marketplace position.
  • Identify and remove cross-functional barriers and establish scalable ways of working, documentation, and governance for the vertical.
  • Own quarterly and annual revenue planning, forecast accuracy, and pipeline coverage while monitoring customer-acquisition cost, payback, and margin guardrails.
  • Standardize quarterly business reviews, executive readouts, and campaign learning agendas and ensure actionable insights and return-on-investment narratives.
  • Maintain customer relationship management discipline, pricing consistency, and contract best practices.
  • Stay current on digital marketing trends including retail media, loyalty marketing, performance marketing, insights, measurement, identity and clean rooms, connected television, social, display, onsite, and offsite media.
  • Represent the company at strategic client meetings and industry forums and develop points of view and thought leadership that influence investment strategies.
