By PYMNTS | June 23, 2026 Candescent has named former iCIMS CEO Jason Edelboim as CEO, succeeding Brendan Tansill, who will step down to pursue other endeavors. Edelboim, who has built and scaled artificial intelligence-powered software business, will accelerate innovation across the Candescent Intelligent Banking Platform, which is used by more than 1,300 banks and credit unions, the company said in a Monday (June 22) press release. "Jason is the right leader at the right moment," Ramzi Musallam, CEO and managing partner of Veritas Capital, parent company of Candescent, said in the release. "Candescent has established itself as the leader in Intelligent Banking, and Jason's proven ability to scale enterprise software and AI-enabled platforms positions the company to extend that lead." At iCIMS, Edelboim led the company's transformation into an AI platform for talent acquisition. Before that, he served as president and chief operating officer of Dataminr, an AI platform for real-time event, threat and risk intelligence, according to the release.
