Requirements
  • 2-4 years experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting of IT systems.
  • Comfortable working with multiple software and hardware platforms.
  • Experience with administering Active Directory
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and relational database structures
  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent applicable experience.
  • CompTIA Security+ CE certification (preferred) or must be obtained with 6 months of hire date.
  • Must be able to travel as needed to customer sites.
  • Must be able to obtain Secret clearance.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing as it relates to conveying technical information internally and externally.
  • Ability to investigate problems or malfunctions and recommend solutions or corrective actions.
  • Ability to keep abreast of changing software technology.
  • Ability to work directly with customers in solving hardware/software problems.
  • Must be able to work both independently and as part of a geographically dispersed team with little supervision and guidance.
Responsibilities
  • Supporting installation, configuration, and testing of Hexagon Public Safety products and interfaces in an on-premise or cloud hosted Public Safety environment remotely and on-site.
  • Traveling to a customer site to provide onsite support of existing Hexagon provided hardware and software systems as well as deploy new systems.
