Simplify's Take

What believers are saying

  • The Fumonisin pet-food strip expands Charm into higher-margin specialty feed workflows.
  • SpaceX and NASA swab use strengthens credibility for regulated, high-stakes sampling.

What critics are saying

  • Charm depends on recurring USDA-FGIS and AOAC renewals; one failure blocks launches.
  • Neogen, 3M, and Thermo Fisher can bundle cheaper diagnostics and displace Charm shelves.
  • If one flagship mycotoxin assay loses approval or adoption, Charm's core revenue cracks.

What makes Charm Sciences unique

  • Charm combines rapid test strips with readers and software, including eBacMap integration.
  • Its ROSA and Peel Plate portfolio spans mycotoxins, sanitation, and microbial testing.
  • USDA-FGIS renewals and AOAC PTM approvals validate Charm's regulated, field-ready workflow.
