Requirements
  • An Associate's degree and a minimum of 7 years of systems analysis and/or application development work experience, or a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years of systems analysis and/or application development work experience. In lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 9 years of education and/or relevant work experience, including a minimum of 5 years of systems analysis and/or application development work experience.
  • Expert proficiency in a minimum of one relevant programming language and professional proficiency in a minimum of one additional relevant programming language.
  • Hands-on production experience using artificial intelligence coding assistants as part of a normal delivery workflow, with the judgment to know when to accept, correct, or reject generated output.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and coach other team members while working independently on applications within approved Software Development Life Cycle processes, including identifying and recommending metrics to solve business needs and minimize risks through clean and resilient code.
  • Lead the team's adoption of approved AI-driven development tooling and define appropriate usage patterns and evidence requirements before AI-assisted code enters production.
  • Author and maintain shared AI development assets, including repository instruction files, reusable prompts, skills, agent definitions, and Model Context Protocol server configurations, as reviewed and version-controlled code.
  • Review and approve pull-request designs and proposals, including AI-assisted and AI-generated changes, and oversee change-management execution through production deployment.
  • Design the peer-review process and coach others on code reviews, code quality, improvements, and AI-specific failure modes.
  • Author clean, efficient, and secure source code at the expert level in one programming language and moderate proficiency in another, while coaching team members on data structures and algorithms.
  • Oversee source-control-management inclusions from team members and merge code developments into the production deployment path.
  • Review team testing methodology and code coverage, coach improvement areas, and use AI tooling to expand test coverage and generate regression cases while validating that generated tests assert real behavior.
  • Drive adherence to performance-testing, resiliency, and optimization patterns and practices.
  • Apply AI-driven development to large-scale refactors, framework and dependency upgrades, legacy-code comprehension, documentation generation, incident analysis, and log analysis, and measure outcomes.
  • Review and approve team requirement plans with delivery partners and ensure requirement completeness, accuracy, and feasibility.
  • Ensure AI-tool usage complies with data-classification, privacy, third-party, and model-usage policies; prevent exposure of confidential data to unapproved services and escalate exceptions.
  • Partner with other groups and suggest cross-organizational process improvements when technical or architectural concerns require them.
  • Contribute technical requirements for delivery and maintenance solutions, including requirements for AI-enabled application features where appropriate.
  • Communicate architecture, progress, challenges, AI usage, and applied controls to business and technical stakeholders.
  • Contribute to application architecture, engineering practices, and pattern changes, and present at architecture peer-group and architecture-review-board meetings.
  • Present team work at internal meetings and author internal blog posts sharing AI-driven development practices, measured results, and failure cases.
  • Adhere to company risk and regulatory standards, policies, and controls, and identify risk-related issues requiring escalation.
  • Promote a culture of belonging consistent with the M&T Bank brand.
  • Maintain internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points and applicable regulatory issues.
  • Complete other related duties as assigned.

Constellation Brands secures $300M delayed draw term loan for corporate flexibility

Constellation Brands has entered into a new term loan credit agreement worth up to $300 million with Manufacturers and Traders Trust Company and other lenders. The delayed draw facility, established on 18 September 2026, will be used for general corporate purposes, including potential debt repayment. The two-year term loans carry interest linked to Term SOFR or a base rate with rating-based margins. Unused commitments will incur a ticking fee beginning 30 days after closing. The agreement includes covenants that mirror the company's existing revolving credit facility. These impose limits on subsidiary indebtedness, liens, mergers, affiliate transactions, and sale-leasebacks, whilst requiring minimum interest coverage and maximum net leverage ratios. The structure is designed to reinforce Constellation Brands' financial flexibility and balance-sheet management.

M&T Bank gains 18% YTD, outpacing Nasdaq amid strong loan growth and rising net interest income

M&T Bank beats Q2 revenue estimates by 1.9% as regional banks show mixed results

Regional banks delivered mixed second-quarter results, with revenues matching analyst expectations on average. M&T Bank reported revenues of $2.52 billion, up 4.9% year on year and exceeding consensus estimates by 1.9%. The bank also beat earnings per share projections and narrowly surpassed net interest income forecasts. Despite the strong quarter, M&T Bank's shares fell 1.3% following the announcement, trading at $238.67. The decline suggests investor expectations may have been higher than published Wall Street projections. Charles River Associates expands credit facility to $400M with six-bank syndicate

Charles River Associates has expanded its credit facility to $400 million through a six-bank lending syndicate. The five-year agreement includes a $75 million term loan and a $325 million revolving credit facility, replacing a previous $300 million facility set to mature in August 2027. The revolving facility can be reduced to $250 million between 16 July and 15 January each year when working-capital requirements are lower.
