Gorilla Commerce enters Walmart stores nationwide, accelerating omnichannel expansion. Published Tuesday, July 14, 2026 | 5:15 a.m. Updated 16 hours, 38 minutes ago NORWALK, Conn.-(BUSINESS WIRE)-Jul 14, 2026- Gorilla Commerce, a consumer products company with a portfolio of award-winning home, pet, and household brands, today announced the nationwide Walmart launch of the Gorilla Grip Bath Tub Mat, the first product from its flagship brand to be sold in stores, marking a significant milestone in the company's evolution from a marketplace-focused business into a leading omnichannel brand. The launch follows years of growth on Walmart Marketplace, where Gorilla Grip products have earned strong customer engagement and consistent bestseller status across multiple categories. Since joining Walmart Marketplace in 2024, Gorilla Commerce has achieved more than 40 bestseller placements and was recognized by Walmart as its Outstanding Home Seller of the Year in 2025. While many brands succeed online, fewer transition to nationwide retail distribution. This expansion reflects Walmart's confidence in the Gorilla Grip brand and the sustained consumer demand demonstrated through years of marketplace performance. "For us, this is much bigger than a single product launch," said CJ Bilangino, CEO of Gorilla Commerce. "It's the next chapter in our company's growth. We've spent years building brands online, listening to customers, improving products, and earning trust. Entering Walmart stores nationwide is a reflection of that work and of the growing partnership we've built with Walmart over time." The Gorilla Grip Bath Tub Mat was selected as the brand's first large-scale in-store Walmart launch following strong marketplace performance. The product has been a cornerstone of the Gorilla Grip portfolio for more than a decade, with more than two million units sold. Featuring a patented design with more than 300 suction cups, the bath mat has become one of the brand's most recognized products. "One of the advantages of building brands in today's retail environment is the ability to learn directly from customers in real time ," said Diana Takach, Chief Brand Officer at Gorilla Commerce. " Marketplace channels allow us to understand what consumers want, refine products based on feedback, and build demand before expanding into physical retail," confirmed Alyssa Ricardelli, VP Product Management at Gorilla Commerce. "This launch is a great example of that process in action ." The Walmart rollout will coincide with the retailer's Back-to-College season and include dedicated endcap placement in stores across the country. The launch marks the latest milestone in Gorilla Commerce's broader expansion strategy as the company continues investing in retail partnerships, product innovation, and brand growth across channels.
